GREEN UP DAY IS POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 30

Usually the first Saturday in May, Green Up Day is a special day in Vermont when thousands of volunteers get involved in a community wide spring cleanup of roadside litter. It is the largest statewide volunteer event in Vermont with over 22,500 taking part, and the longest running statewide Green Up Day in the United States.

Mark your calendars for Green Up Day 2020 on May 30th!  Celebrating 50 years!

Due to the COVID pandemic, there will be no additional events planned.

Green Up bags can be picked up from the porch at the Town Office, during curbside hours on Tuesday and Thursday at the Library and at the Transfer Station operating hours on Thursday and Saturday.

Please help spruce up all town roads to keep our town the “Beauty Spot of Vermont”.  Full bags of trash can left at the edge of the road or brought to the Transfer Station.

Green Up collection is for roadside litter only.  Household trash will not be accepted.

Stay safe – practice social distancing – protect yourself with gloves and masks (if necessary) – wear bright clothing – beware of ticks – AND THANK YOU!!!
