The Grand Isle Cemetery Commission is looking for a town resident to fill the remaining one (1) year of a five (5) year term, from March 2024 to March 2025.

Anyone interested in running for the position of Commissioner should pick up a petition at the Town Clerk’s Office, obtain signatures of 20 registered Grand Isle voters, and turn in the petition to the Town Office by 5:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 29, 2024.

The five-member Commission oversees the operations of the three town cemeteries, manages the budget for the cemeteries and works on occasional projects. The Commission meets once a month at the Town Office. For more
