INVITATION TO BID
The Grand Isle Selectboard is now seeking bids for the 2025 lawn care season.
Sealed bids for consideration must be submitted by mail or in person no later than Monday, March 17, 2025 at 3:30 p.m.
Bids will be opened at the March 17, 2025 Selectboard meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Office.

2025 Season – Lawn Care Bid Requirements
Lawn care will include the following:
- Certificate of insurance
- Spring clean-up
- Lawn mowing weekly from April 1, 2025 to November 1, 2025
- Trimming around buildings, fences and shrubs
- Hedge trimming (minimum of twice per season)

Bids Opened March 17, 2025
At the regular meeting of the Grand Isle Selectboard on Monday, March 17, 2025, four bids were received and opened. Because two Selectboard members needed to recuse themselves from the vote, and subsequently a quorum was not present to vote, this vote has been postponed to the next regular meeting on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Bids Received:
- Platinum Property: $9,465 (minus Annex and Town Garage)
- Royal Landscapes: $39,660
- Blades Above the Rest: $8,500
- Wagner’s Landscaping: $18,500
Bid Awarded April 7, 2025
At the regular meeting of the Grand Isle Selectboard on Monday, April 7 2025, four bids were discussed, with Jennifer Morway and Aimee Cochran recusing themselves from discussion. The remaining Selectboard members voted to award the bid to Platinum Property.
The Town of Grand Isle is grateful for the bids received and looks forward to another competitive season for landscaping services next winter.
