The Board of Civil Authority (BCA) meets to hear matters related to elections, hearing tax appeals and reviewing the voter checklist. The BCA is comprised of members of the select-board, the justices of the peace, and the town clerk. The BCA meets as needed.

NOTICE OF BOARD OF CIVIL AUTHORITY HEARING
Pursuant to the provisions of 32 V.S.A. ยง4404(b), notice is hereby given that the Board of Civil Authority within and for the Town of Grand Isle will meet at the Grand Isle Town Office, 9 Hyde Road in the Community Room in said town to hear appeals of person(s) or other parties, who are aggrieved by the action of the Board of Lister’s and have timely filed their written appeal with the Town Clerk. Hearings will continue as scheduled with appellants until all parties are heard.
